IDT Corp. Future Deals - 3:29 PM EST - TK It looks like some enterprising investors of IDT Corp. (IDTC) discovered links on impending partnerships with Compaq and Sprint before they are officially announced. Message-board users say they've discovered evidence of two partnership deals involving Net2Phone, a company that routes telephone calls over the Internet. Net2Phone isn't talking, but at least one of the deals is for real. A spokesman for Sprint confirms that it is testing a service with Net2Phone. Compaq Computer, the other rumored partner, declines to comment. - Wall St. Journal

i hate to end the week with a positive post..... did you know? 1. idtc still finished higher this week than last (18 7/8 last friday), today of 19 15/16. although the naz had a tough week, idtc actually firmed. (stange, true, and should not be discounted) 2. another sub-500k day. idtc has held up during the recent market correction. clearly we have hardcore holders of idtc remaining. clearly those who remain understand the underlying biz of idtc, and understand idtc to be a 'safe' investment, with its heavy discount. those remaining and holding, consider yourselves survivalists. 3. sprint and cpq news for ntop 4. no earnings surprise. (this is a joke) 5. road show begins next week. interesting if idtc attracts institutions. 6. still above the 200 dma (18.85). 7. clearly the earnings debacle is behind investors, since this would have been the week to punish idtc into the 16 range. 8. i am almost giddy going into next week. 9. how much more of a rate hike can be factored into the market? 10. idtc already sells at a discount to its assets, sales, growth, products, .... so we have less to lose than the monster nuts.
