this person is calling kibby a torti. kibby appears to be black with some color in her.

the term torti, to my knowledge, means tortiseshell. my cat that i refer to as a "reverse torti" is gray, but has very distinct patches of orange in her. My understanding was that torti cats were the opposite...their primary color was the orange (tortiseshell) and they had streaks of dark color. I may have been misinformed when I got her. She is the most precious animal anywhere (and don't tell her sisters, cause i'm not supposed to play favorites ;-))
