You sound kind of defeatist. Not a good thing for a physician. Perhaps you should consider another line of work, such as plastic surgery. You will never fear being put out of business by scientific advances---there will always be an unlimited supply of ugly people.
As for myself, I pray for the day when all oncologists are "put out of business".
