Meanwhile, Louis Rukeyser on WallSTreetWeek was quite direct in his thinking on interest rates and the bonds.. He talked about a cat sitting on a hot stove will not sit on a hot stove again.. nor will it sit on a cold one. Like the bonds they are freaked and afraid of things that will not hurt them.. He doesnt think interest rates will be a problem.. and thinks growth stocks will be the leaders still.. very reassuring to hear.

:-)

.. coffee with that?

First we free Kosovo now we free aol** Microsoft takes free ISP route in UK

Microsoft has reportedly joined the increasing-popular business
model of offering free Internet access service in the United
Kingdom. The move follows the Microsoft Network's loss of 150,000
subscribers in Great Britain this year, according to Bloomberg
news. "Going free is not an option anymore, it's the cost of being
a player," commented Forrester Research analyst Joe Sawyer. "The
access model is getting commoditized," he told the news service.
AOL Europe said it might also consider offering free Internet
access in the UK, Bloomberg added.

Merrill + Goldman: Aren't you satisfied with 99 and change? The hard working folks of this thread are tired of your tactics. We know that someone from your companies monitor this thread. Some of us are even thinking of joining your institution based on the unlimited trades and $1500/year charge. Anyone get details on this offering???? Supposedly starts in July 99.
