No, I don't think Intel has been coasting for the last 10 or 20 years. I do think Intel has gotten a little lazy in the last 4-5 years and needs a good wake up call. I'm talking about high-end performance, not the low-end of the market. We have seen in the last 2 year Intel forced to be cost-competitive. Now they have someone pushing them at the high-end. I see this as a good thing for folks like me who write software ;)..

Lack of stock movement and erosion of technology edge suggests they've been coasting for the past 1 or 2 years.
