Thanks - very interesting approach. In a way, it is similar to the neural net approach as you mentally "train" on historic patterns. Getting the patterns into a neural system might be a challenge though. BTW: Have you used Elliot Wave? I usually catagorize Elliot wavers as perma-bears, however some people seem to make money with it. Also there are a couple of commercial packages for Elliot wave, such as Advanced Get, which I gather has a large following and price tag to boot.
