What scares me here............... I have read all the DELL and CPQ boards (and even the IOMEGA boards way back when). The AOL boards really read the same; that being those folk that can't possibly believe their beloved stock could drop so much. That is scary when we are "married" to our stocks and are not willing to look at fundamentals. I personally have been investing for 20 years. I think this interest rate advance and inflation scare is NOT a one time event, but the start of a long decline in high P/E stocks. The 1990-1999 advance may be followed by a longer decline than any of you have witnessed in your short investing careers. I will sell my remaining shares in AOL Monday (all in retirement accounts, so no taxes) and will look to buy back when the bottom is in place.
