I agree with you on Rubin... I believe he will be viewed as a truly great Treasury Secretary. Not only was he totally familiar with the markets, trading, etc., he never got so full of the beltway b.s. that he could not see that the economy, not he himself, was the issue. Apparently he had no qualms about telling Clinton no. And, he forged a great relationship with Greenspan. If only all public servants could do as well.
