CNBC interview of QWST CEO....

1) Haines: What is this about. QWST: Size does matter
2) Haines: Get around long distance "issue".
QWST: Spin off revenue and LD in that territory until Comms act changes.
3) Faber: Is QWST a buyer or seller?
Nacchio: Industry transforming from telecom to Broadband. What about BLS? Not happy? BLS valued partner of QWST, not about stock getting hit, about future. Faber: Well...it can be about the stock in the first couple of days. Nacchio. We take the long view, and it takes a bit of time and good comms to get the story out. People might see a ST drop in the stock.
Faber: How about number of shares are you issuing....it will be a detriment to the stock price. Nacchio: Using purchase accounting. Why no collar. Nacchio: We're using a superior exchange rate, and QWST has a superior offer. Faber: You and Anchustz selling share. QWST: don't read anything into this, I sell periodically.

Wish I could type faster...

Steve

Nacchio emphasized emphatically any short term price decrease does not concern him. Long term value for shareholders is their agenda.
He came off confident, but I don't know what to do with my shares..
