Just on CNBC...Merrill Lynch thinks a recovery in japan will benefit semi equip makers CYMI, AMAT, NVLS, and KLAC.

This should gives us a further pop today!

Sounds like Merrill is positively mentioning Semi-equip group because of the upturn in Japan's GDP. According to CNBC Cymer is specifically mentioned. Now if someone has the actual report.

Jay (belatedly) Thanks for that reply on CYMI alternatives. Lamda Physik came up over on the DPMI thread, as well, cited as providing the lasers for one the development efforts at 157 nm for one of the companies. I'll have to get smarter on Komatsu and Ushio.
Do you see any serious risk to CYMI's dominant position for the foreseeable future?
