Jason and all. . .I like those differing opinions by you and William. . .it really helps us to read what is going on and draw our own conclusions.

It will certainly be interesting to see the next group of numbers. As the larger brokerage houses have been losing market share to the smaller ones. . .and some daytraders have ditched out, due to their near-sightedness. . . the whole online brokerage industry is quickly becoming a seasonal business. . . profitable in the winter months, but not during the summer.

I still think that regional banks will soon be offering similar deep discounts to their best customers and taking a chunk of share for themselves. . . I know I would lean toward trading through my bank, which offers excellent customer service. . .and where I could instantly transfer to and from my other accounts. . . . and where I am known and respected as a valued customer, not merely an account number. . . and most importantly. . . .where I know that the brokerage house is not purposely trading with or against my trades as they are entered. . . that is a growing problem that still leaves me both discouraged and confused [talked about in depth once before here].

All of the best internets will be back. . . and those that sold the good ones cheaply will be whining right along with those that failed to buy, because they believed the press that says the internet is dead. . . . give me a break.
