One's supposed to be a rip-off of the other but I can never remember which was the original, Lindner or Winkleman.

The Lindner accent sound more like someone from Chicago than MN though I think they live in Brainard MN.

Was Fargo really a true story? I mean the chipper and all? At the beginning of the film it said "based on a true story" but then someone told me they read the Coen's said the true story stuff was a joke. It sounds a little familiar though....
