Zeev and mind, about two years ago I remember that Intel was telling everyone that worldwide shipments of PC's were just about to eclipse the worldwide shipments of TV's. Intel was (and still is) very proud of this fact. Anyway, since worldwide shipments of PC's were probably about 85 million units plus at that point, we can infer that worldwide shipments of TV's were the same. TV shipments, like PC shipments, aren't standing still so I bet the units will be higher down the road.

I hope this helps.

Believe me, I don't want the CEO of any company that I own shares in giving outlandish forecasts. Tate may be right about HDTV's once the costs come down a bit. I've met Tate, he DOESN'T strike me as a hypester at all.

Regards,

Doug
