If a company pre-announces in the forest and nobody cares... Listened to the Maxtor cc... all 15 minutes and 3 questions of it! Units down 10%, pricing probably down ~15%. Fighting to keep share at strategic OEMs, so most of unit shortfall from the channel, where there are no margin opportunities. Aggressive pricing due to competitors (probably SEG) trying to regain share at OEMs, pushing prices down and resulting in overbuild flooding channel (WDC). This is ridiculous. I want some blood spilled this time! Sheesh.
