OT Cont'd........I don't agree Kevin, I have strong opinion on this issue and wrote what I believe to be a good retaliation to such frivolous suits by companies.

Take a look at NF-T people (PHPI) FM has now accumulated 1.2mm shares today!! So far no breakout, but put it on your "ticker-watch"!

Kevin

I'll have to side with Chief on this issue.

A while back another company tried the same move and it scared the hell out of me. I don't like the idea of big brother watching every word I type. I should have the right to say whatever I want about a company...truth, hype, pump, lie, guess.....FREE SPEACH. I have printed some fairly nasty things about companies and directors on SI and other sites in the past. Statements like..."that promotor is known as a pump and dump artist", "the company is only running up the stock so they can unload their shares to the public" or "the deal is just a front to pay kickbacks" and far worse. In a large number of cases I didn't have hard core proof to back up the statements but ended up being right in the end. However if this trend continues I could be taken to court just for opening my mouth like that.

As a buyer I believe it is your duty to check every fact written about a company/director/deal/etc. If you don't then you deserve to lose money. I for one hate the pumpers types but have learned to live with them and ignore them. If I'm not sure that a statement is a lie or a pump I will check it out...if I can't find proof to back up the statement them I consider it a lie.

If companies are so worried about lies printed on SI, Ragging Bull, etc., they should have their IR guy answer questions on the threads and correct false statements...isn't that what they pay these guys 5-10K a month for.

Best Regards
KEITH
