<<At first I thought you meant 19 tomato plants. That'd be farmer market levels. >>

I knew a couple who decided to grow all their own food. When they sent their order for seed and plants in they put down the wrong number and got 12 dozen tomato plants instead of 12. Planted all of them. Thought they'd can the harvest. They canned and canned. Put up a road side stand. Couldn't even give them away.

15 tomato plants: ten heirloom type: 5 Brandywines, 2 Germans, a Moskvitch, a Sweet 100 and a Sun Cherry, and 4 hybrids: 2 Better Boys, and 2 Rutgers. And one anonymous, that looked deserving.

Also 2 habanero peppers and a jalapeno.

Hi JP, speaking of soul/Southern food, local groceries recently started carrying Glory Foods brand frozen soul/Southern food. It's all pretty good, but I just tried the collard greens in pot likker, it is outstanding. Unfortunately I am too lazy to make corn bread, I am eating it with rice, but that's good, too. Jasmine rice, doesn't taste like home, but it's better than Uncle Ben's, IMO.
