My latest CPI #'s theory is that Greenspan scheduled his talk for Thurs because he knows the numbers will be positive, and he doesn't want the market to get too carried away with it's dead cat bounce before he really squashes it on the 29th.

I'm writing a book. Chapter 3 is called, "How Internet Investing Breeds Cynicism Among the Best of Us."

Software Spectrum to provide AOL customer support
GARLAND, Texas, June 16 (Reuters) - Software Spectrum Inc.
<SSPE.O> on Wednesday said it signed a technical support
services agreement with America Online Inc. <AOL.N>, the
world's largest consumer Internet services company.
Software Spectrum said in a statement that it will provide
technical assistance for AOL's member services, helping
customers with issues ranging from the installation of AOL's
application CD to problems logging onto the Internet.
No financial terms were disclosed.
Software Spectrum provides online and telephone support for
corporations and software publishers, computer equipment makers
and Internet service providers in North America, Europe and the
Asia/Pacific region.
Software Spectrum staffers are familiar with more than 150
advanced desktop and network applications, and the majority of
the programs from the top 10 software publishers.
The statement contained no details on how many Software
Spectrum employees would be put to work on the AOL contract.
America Online has more than 17 million customers of its
flagship AOL online service plus another 2 million CompuServe
customers, among its various services.
