OT: There was a statement made by David Watkins in that last article that you posted that seems to imply that it may not be the format that matters to the growth of this industry. What is important is the quality of the music (big name artists) that is available to be downloaded. To get the masses to embrasses digital/downloaded music requires that the Big Six music companies support the format. In order to get the Big Six to provide content the formats have to also provide security. That is the first hurdle. Then? the consumers will start to choose the format that provides that provides the best sound quality. And even after that the market will not achieve its potential until after broadband is in the homes. He (David Watkins) mentioned in the interview on www.wallstreetinterview.com that he does not expect substantial growth in the market for a few years.
