Real Earnings for May 1999

Real Earnings for May = + 0.7%

stats.bls.gov
Real average weekly earnings increased by 0.7 percent from April to May after seasonal adjustment, according to preliminary data released today by the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the U.S. Department of Labor. This was due to a 0.3 percent increase in average weekly hours and a 0.4 percent gain in average hourly earnings.

I think the ECI is the preferred measure.
