Mike,

Despite today's CPI number I think the Fed is going to tighten. I know this runs counter to my "easy Al will support the bubble for now"
thesis, but the Beige Book gives me the feeling they ARE going to tighten.

To All, Odd piece about Rambus in the news. techweb.com

So, what is odd? First, we have to consider the source. Samsung is THE Rambus co. They are the only ones set to build the chip. So, their worries about the 600 mhz chips should be noted. However, if their customers only want 700 and 800 mhz devices, the market those customers are looking at is very limited.

Samsung also shot across the bow of other DRAM cos., basically saying that any one who does not have .18 um processes had better kiss RDRAM goodbye.

They were also critical of P133.

But no mention whatsoever of DDR. Wonder why? <vbg>
