Put your self in their position. If someone slandered and fraudulently accused you of some dastardly doing wouldn't you sue when the lies were so blatent? There are laws against libel and slander. The biggest problem with these kinds of lawsuits is that the plaintiff must prove malice.
It will be interesting to see this unfold.
Didn't MDHM have a similar situation??
