Potentially, yes, in W-CDMA. It is probably no coincidence that they are attacking the W-CDMA market, but explicitly not attacking the CDMA-2000 market. The latter is Qualcomm's turf and it will probably be pretty hard to displace Qualcomm. However, W-CDMA is relatively open and so some startup should have a better chance of carving out some territory. All JMO.

PS Note that of course that I wouldn't worry too much about this particular player until they actually produce some working silicon.
