Frank, Michael Dell will be on CNBC Tuesday.

Take a sedative and relax until then.

Frank.... I wasn't home most of the day and haven't checked out DELL news as yet, but I don't believe that DELL was downgraded, rather that the earnings estimates were cut in view of the fact that margins will shrink due to competition as pc prices decline and computers become a commodity. DELL has had a great run up over the last couple of years, but now Wall Street finally recognizes that the company is nothing more than a box maker and is, therefore, justifiably putting DELL's PE back into perspective as company growth slows. Frank,
Hi!!!

RE: The day that the Nasdaq post its largest point gain in History the stock of Dell gets downgraded and Michael does not do a frigging thing about it. Shareholders should voice their vote of no confidence and disapproval for the CEO Michael Dell when the next shareholders meet soon. He should have to explain his long silence during the decline and the poor performance of Dell this year while IBM doubled?? There is no excuse for this kind of piss performance in a market on a day like today.

Let's bet....which stock by February has the biggest gain?

I'll take....uuuuuummmmm let me think....You take the other three...

Your whinin' about Michael is annoying...He has never NEVER...not supposed to use that word Kemble...but, NEVER has he let us down...The only reason I can surmise you have such poor patience is you bought the stock higher..and you're a trader...if that is the case...HE doesn't care...

Best, Kemble

Frank, you really need to get a grip. Your posts calling
for MD's head are insane. The stock is up 3.4% and that's
bad... MD should hold a press conference to defend todays
action??? Maybe he should have his own show every evening discussing
why the stock went up or down and forget about running the
business.

Gateway was only up 2.15% and they have cool commercials,
fancy stores, an internet service and a slick new space age PC.
Intel was up 7.2% but the street still considers Dell's stock
TWICE as valuable as theirs in price to earnings.

If MD could say anything tomorrow morning to make you happy,
what would it be? Please detail for us what he should say
and why. Maybe you just want MD to make a bunch of misleading
statements to pop the stock so you can get out without a loss.

Maybe you have forgotten how slick 5fer was at delivering a load
of crap... look where he and his ex company is right now.

No downgrades today, only 1 earnings forcast adjustment. Strong
buys were reiterated by others.

As for MD's silence... do you really bother to read and assimilate
any of the positive announcements currently coming out of the
Dell camp or do you rely only on the talking heads at CNBC? The last 15 days we have had a barrage of good news. Wake up!

What is your take on MD's presentation at the Bear Stearns conference?

Micheal Dell should step down.. this guy lost his magic touch.

I have a feeling there's going to be more downgrade from analyst later on. Micheal Dell get your act together!.. go take some lessons from Mr. Ellison maybe he will teach you how to turn a piece of crab into a shiny piece of gold.

Just look at how many upgrade Oracle got today.

Bear Stearn
CIBC World Market
CSFB
Dain Rauscher
FAC/Eqts Fst Albany
Goldman Sachs
Gruntal & Co
Hambrecht & Quist
Merrill Lynch
Piper Jaffrey
Warburg Dillion

After dropping from $55 to all the way to $33.25 Monday, now he's getting into the sub-$1000 market. Micheal Dell is just making things worst.. like talk about bad timing. If this guy have some business savvy in his head, he would of got into the sub$1000 long time ago.
DELL $27.50 = 50% off its high

Oracle attracted tons of upgrade today for good earnings.
How many downgrade you think dell will get if the next earnings doesn't meet WALL STREET EXPECTATION ?

The future doesn't look too bright.
