This is just a PDC phone wiht the Sun version of the UP browser on it. The PDC phones are simpler to build in technology and have been at 79 gms for awhile. But as you have rad in the last few posts, even DoCoMO, for whom these phones are targetted is going away from PDC.

Check out the specs on the DDI home page for the Japan CDMa phones. Specs like 79 gms, 300 hours standby, 10 hours talk time, etc....
