I have the Interact FX force-feedback racing wheel and I love it. It is a little bulky but it is very usable and is the only F/F mini wheel on the market. The F/F seemed a bit hammy at first but it quickly became indispensible. For $40 it was a must.

I have no problem with 3dfx doing business with them.

Going back to my comment about producing games being a low-return enterprise; a top selling PC game will sell 2 million units world-wide in a year and have a life of 2 years at the most. With an average price of $30-40 throughout that time the retail return for the game is $80M at the upper limit. From that the developer must pay the retailer, distribution, packaging, customer support and an 18 month development period. I'm guessing that $20M is a generous estimate for a product that was 2 years in the making and requires ongoing support costs. And that is for a top 5 game and most games sell a few hundred thousand in total if they are lucky

So although the entertainment software industry as a whole may be measured in the billions of retail dollars that includes all sectors of the industry and I don't believe it is returning much money to the developers/publishers on a game by game basis.

Star Wars Ep.1 has surpased $300M so far.
