What will IRA stock traders do?!

If you were trading those stocks during the indicated time period with your IRA account, then you don't have trading slips now, do you? How are we gonna claim anything with our IRA trading activity? I spoke to an accountant today who's got 600 claims sitting on his desk waiting to be processed. He keeps copies of all his customers trading slips going back decades, and is going to do the leg work for them. He figures it will take around 3hrs per filing under 70 trades, and will be charging somewhere in the $100-$200 range. He's still thinking about how he's gonna handle all this, so the fee's may change over the next few weeks as he gets a better idea what's involved. I would expect a lot of tax return places that shut down over the summer, may open up and do this processing for a set fee. No telling yet what it will be.

Try to get people to hit this thread over the weekend to get us up the hotlist. I don't want this to happen for my ego, but rather to get people focusing on the filing, instead of just putting this off, and not reaping the benefits they are entitled.
