Boys are already routinely mutilated. Most men want big long penises. Circumcision (originally a semitic religious rite) in some instances reduces the apparent length of the penis by an inch or more. That's more than most men can spare.

<<How about we have a sexual discrimination case then? Boys must also be mutilated. >>

It's called circumcision and being done.

Or who could argue this without embarrassment? My dear, there are attorneys who could argue a case for the existence of leprechauns without embarrassment, were there a suitable pot of gold at the end of the litigation rainbow.

I first encountered this particular horror in the Sudan when I was there in 1977, this being one of the major countries that has historically practiced it (it being an aberration of an understanding of the Koran prevalent in northeast Africa, which says that all one's "children" shall be circumcised, but in the days of its writing only male children "counted").

At the time I was there, there was a secular government, and they were making strenuous efforts to stamp out the practice through public education. Aside from the hideousness of the procedure, hundreds of young girls died of subsequent infection. Regrettably, the country was later taken over by an Islamic fundamentalist government that came out in favor of the practice.

For those who somehow draw comparison between this procedure and male circumcision, trust me, you are not in the same neck of the woods.
