Male circumcision is not practiced everywhere in the world, and it's becoming less popular in the U.S. My sons are not circumcised. I believe that the AMA no longer recommends it, either. The research showing it to be healthier has been debunked, I think. Well, I haven't done a PubMed search. Anyway, I think it's a barbaric practice.

Yes, but if you wanted to keep them from masturbating you would need to... <g> That would interfere with being fruitful and multiplying, though, now wouldn't it?

WHile I think circumcision is unnecessary, I don't think it's exactly the same as permanent disability, chance of death, and the complete elimination of sexual pleasure! And you don't either- you're being funny.
But I bet a lot of men WOULD compare the two! Just as so many men insisted their wives get tubal ligations even though vasectomies were simpler- Men really have some ambivalent feelings about women.
EDIT- someone will probably call me on that- don't bother. I'm too lazy to argue.

An inch or more!? Forgive me if I sneeze and it sounds vaguely like "bullshit!!" I have these AWFUL allergies.

From what I've seen (and let's not go there, 'kay?) the only way a foreskin might add a few millimeters to the male's X axis is when it's flaccid. An erect penis is the same size and length - whole or trimmed, unless you were the victim of one of Moyel Feldstein's "half off" specials.
