Get real. This is Belize you are talking about. The other divisions of PABN/PRWT are of no local interest. I doubt they call the US to check their stories, despite the sound journalistic practice it would be to do so. The reason for the story can be a lot of things, including local politics as you suggest. But the fact remains that it is a story apparently from The Reporter.

Since John is going down there this would be an excellent opportunity for him to make himself available to the paper to straighten out any misconceptions. Or, heaven forbid, John could actually call them himself. Or even glad talking Ray Gamble. The phones do work both ways.

First off How come no mention of the additional divisions of pabn?

Any American paper would have done a bit of research on this before releasing it.

Barbara, this is NOT an American paper, rather a small paper published for and about Belize. The article is clear in that the only issue they have is PABN's role in Belize. They go into no other details about PABN nor do they appear to have an interest in PABN beyond PABN's claims about Belize.

Here's another post from the individual who posted the information...

This is from the Reporter News Email Updates. You can subscribe or write to the Newspaper. It was PC Modem who quoted from this very Email service in the past and how I originally became aware of it so I can only assume that PC Modem also received this report as I did.

I don't intend on getting into a useless banter about this or accusations of my intentions except to confirm that the information I posted is exactly how it appeared to me. Based on past reports from this service, it seems that another summary will be posted on a Weekly Online Edition of the Reporter Newspaper.
