One of the analysts nailed CPQ a few days ago - I think it was Ashok Komur (sp?). This should have come as little surprise to most investors. CPQ is attempting to change their distribution model to be more like that of DELL. That means a lot of dislocation of inventories. Bloody for the short-term but it should lower their costs in the long term.

Michelle, what do you think about Sotheby's, BID? My preliminary thought is that BID stands to gain a lot in the deal with Amazon - a chance to increase their sales significantly and gain a higher valuation as an Internet growth play. The joint Sotheby.amazon.com site apparently will open in September - in time for the pre-Christmas sales and media blitz.
