Kevin,
I am a rare poster on this thread. I have only been investing for about a year and I prefer to shut up and learn than offer any inexperienced thoughts. I have always enjoyed your posts and learned a great deal. Thank you for sharing what you know and think.

My area of "expertise" is biotech. I hold a long position in HIV (Cel-Sci) and I invested primarily because of their excellent research and phase 1 and ii results with Multikine. Multikine is likely to be a revolutionary cancer drug, especially in head and neck tumors. In a couple of years I think everyone will know about it.
Cel Sci also has an HIV vaccine research program underway, through a wholly owned subsidiary. Rarely do they speak of their research results, but this aids vaccine involvement is what attracts most other investors, expecially day-traders... the excitement of a potential Entremed-like gap-up is hard to resist.

The stock has been in the doldrums for two years, and while I have been an investor it has bounced around the $2 mark. The only time any life comes into the stock is when Day-traders On-line hypes it. Along comes a swarm of salivating innocents. The price spikes to 3 1/2 and then slowly erodes back to $2. This seems to be happening again. Yesterday HIV was called in DTO and lo and behold the current price is $3. However, something feels different about this move and the charts are taking on a new appearance. There have been large block buys (and sells) and I suspect some European investing is behind the initial large block buys. Trading today is over 1MM, Av volume is <150,000

I would appreciate your TA on the charts. If you think HIV has finally broken its monotonous daily journey, it may be worth everyone taking a closer look. If we could clear away the DTO crowd, things might be clearer. I have always felt this company was undervalued just based on Multikine potential, and if it breaks out it could spike up to $5 or $7 quickly, in my opinion... your thoughts.

Be well.
