You will tie up the courts with these private matters... bitter divorce-court battles as to whether somebody's spouse took those meds deliberately or not.... supreme court won't touch this.... (as well they shouldn't)

Here's a middle ground any presidential candidate can take on abortion.

a. Roe/Wade is the law of the land. For now abortion is a moot issue.
b. Roe/wade is was a bad decision based on faulty logic. I will appoint supreme court judges who agree with me on that.
c. Abortion is not a Federal concern. Each state should decide for themselves how to treat it just like any other criminal matter.
