Well there are a lot of ramifications to allowing the states to decide their own policies in these controversial matters... however, I might be willing to consider it if we extended it to all other areas too, for example, gun control. Say abortion is legal in California and guns are illegal, no one can enter california with a gun, border patrols etc. (I'm fairly sure comprehensive gun control would pass in California). Thats kind of an eye for an eye, I would say, since in both cases we have legislation that huge groups of people find unacceptable.

Neocon, the NOW gang doesn't really care about womens rights. They're really about extending the hand of government and moving us toward a socialist state. It was simply an easy way to get a bunch of rabid supporters, and at the same time hide their marxist philosophy.

The way they ran underground during the Clinton scandals and looked like a bunch of hypocritical "yes ladies" clinched that one. Bill Clinton exposed the NOW gang for what it really is. That being a radically far left, elitist group of socialists. Who couldn't bring themselves down to support "trailor trash" like Paula Jones, or upset the apple cart by supporting Kathleen Wiley, or Jane Doe number 5.
