Pan American Bancorp is a joint venture partner with Affordable Housing Group Limited, a locally registered Belizean company, which is engaged in a housing project at Ladyville in a new subdivision called Ridge Lagoon Estate. Pan American Bancorp owns 49 percent of Affordable Housing Group Limited. The other 51 percent is owned by Mr. Joe Sanker of Los Angeles, California. Mr. Sanker has produced documentary evidence to show that both Affordable Housing Group Ltd. and an associate company called Alph's National Building Society are registered entities with corporate status in Belize. Alph's National Building Society was registered in Belize on August 9, 1998. Affordable Housing Group Limited was registered on February 27, 1998.
