How hot is that 20 gig maxtor, Spots? I've been waiting for the 5400 27 gig. Storagereview thought it was a bit warmer than some.

I suspect performance will be similar for my apps, and that it'll be quieter, cooler and cheaper. May be wrong tho.

Glad you like it! As you know, I love Maxtor drives. I'm waiting to get back into MXTR stock too-- thank heavens my recent position has been tiny. :)
