Tom Cat:
So here we go. I would suspect that Dni will settle this very quickly, as they have everything ready to go in the region. I hope both parties can be mature enough to settle this dispute between them. Notice how it comes up, just as we are expecting an NR announcing drilling. This is their big project, so I can see this being settled promptly.

Thank-you for posting
Regards
G

Hi TC,
Read over the NVE news release a few times. It appears too general and may contain a lot of smoke.

Specifically:
1. Are they claiming the claims which are currently owned by Dumont and the subject of impending drilling.
2. If so, why did they wait so long. If not, how does it hurt Dumont's position.
3. The wording of the alleged agreement with 2973090 Canada Inc. is not spelled out. Are they claiming a right of first refusal or are they making a blanket claim to all property acquired by 2973090 Canada Inc. subject to a net smelter royalty and paying the taxes and assessment work.

We all know anybody can make a claim, TC. This one sounds a bit like sour grapes and could mean anything. We may learn they waived prior rights, and now have changed their minds. Have they got the money for assessment work? Last I heard they were struggling to explore the ground they already have.

Maybe I'm missing something but I don't see where it affects Dumont. Besides, what's a nice guy like you doing hanging around with a crowd like NVE.... :-))
