lanac: INTC does not like the yields it is getting and therefore until they get it right they are not going to swap yield (gross margin) for speed. That is why INTC is a reliable and profitable company that has the cash flow to plow $ back into R&D.

AMD's K7 is never my concern. It will be Q1 or Q2 2000 where
the real match will begin. All these K7 stories are just
amusing at the moment.
