I'm sorry, Neocon. I'm trying to prepare for tomorrow and between this and tweaking folks on SI, I haven't been able to respond to you as promptly as I would like. I will be in DC next week. Will do all I can to visit "Mama." (grin) You are correct. Many Chinese restaurants have cornered the market on Gaudiness. Gold and red dragons and junk everywhere. Often the dishes are too sweet for me. But Peking Duck is excellent. I love the "pancakes" and the sauce, and everything else. You know, I haven't had it in so long, I think I will get some soon.
