Does anyone know how many subscribers AOL-UK has in Britain? In the UK, free Internet appears to be booming. The #1 Internet service provider (ISP) is "FreeServe" with 1.2 million subscribers. I don't think AOL-UK is free but they are in 2nd. place followed by #3 "x-stream" (XSNI-Nasdaq, nearly 400,000 subscribers). x-stream was up yesterday US$1.06/share. FreeServe isn't on the stock market yet, but there's a good article on "free Internet and FreeServe in the U.K. on post #1183 on XSNI thread. Hit Business and then "Focus - the Making of FreeServe".
