Doesn't Steve Jobs have a personal "emotional" investment with Apple with the creation of the Mac? I could be wrong, but I think he just couldn't let his baby die. Yes, and that's why I have a hard time picturing him leading CPQ -- almost like joining the "enemy." PerryA

Or does it need a CEO who is willing to let "his baby" die. I think you will find a long line of CEOs willing to take that job as long as they are well compensated for it. Who has the emotional commitment to work as CPQ's CEO for $1 a year and willing to make it into a success without bailing with golden parachute? -Bill_H
