Sorry if it's been discussed, but I wasn't able to keep up with the thread over the last few days and had 230 posts to read.

Anyway, the latest issue of Money magazine had a nice article about on-line banking. They highlight the top six on-line banks and what the advantages were. Basically, they said you'll make more money with your money. I don't know the number of subscribers Money has, but I know a lot of people that read it. This was a 3-4 page article detailing who had the best deals on what.

They mentioned that you don't need minimums to have a checking account. Unlike banks like Wells Fargo, where you need a $500 (?) minimum or they charge you $9.50/mo.

Hopefully this will drive more conservative people into the on-line banking revolution.
