I don't know if it is OT but since it wasn't about a stock but rather a general question, probably not. :)

I'm not sold on Level II either, I think there is a lot of misinformation there, especially in the bigger stocks. I see MM's put up 50000 share lots of MSFT and then pull them down just as quickly. Sometimes it is good for determining support on a stock but just as often I think it gives false impressions. So far I have kept it but I may get rid of it as I think intraday charts are more beneficial for entry/exit points. IMHO.
