Wade, Thanks!, Homestake is a "very good name from the past (well, my past)", like PDG...Haven't read the link, but my gut reaction, knowing nothing about the current situation, HM at ~$8 seems awful cheap...

Now, I'm curious, so I had to sneak a look at the link...

Well, I look at it this way...it's only 1%, and it's sort of like a PP, BUT NO STOCK ISSUED...I guess the bottom line is, will it make HM stronger??? It might..., actually, think it will...
What does the 1% amount to in equivalent shares, and dollars for HM???

HM seems like a good one for me to do some more DD on...but, remember, I'm one of those guys that bought ANZ.TO for around $2.00...Geeees, I've come a long way in the last 4 years :>

(OT) BTW, I am watching Louis Rukeyser on PBS...interesting...just talked about the fascination of folks with space and other galaxies, the gal mentioned that she only knew 1 company that is earning 40% on telescopes, and is expected to do a minimum of 20% per year going forward to 2002... Any ideas???

I searched through my e-mails for the KRY scoop I read, no luck, so it must have been a random plink at RB or the Stockhouse board...Not mentioned in any official news release, but I remember my reaction...
If I was, my friend Jeff (a KRY'er from the old Stockhouse days), I would them them to drop it...KRY just posted a successful quarter...

This is an interesting, and over looked sector...I'm not sure I like KRY, but PDG and HM are very interesting...

BTW, did you realize that PDG currently hedges $570M...Got lucky with my diddly 500 shares of PDG today :>
