Interesting how UBID rebounded. That's good for MALL behind the scenes. MALL still provides services for UBID, and now can show a profit from it. PC sales are far from dead. That would be like saying in 1964 that TV sales were dead. As the price drops, more and more people can buy. And how many households now have more than one TV? I have 3 PC's - 4 if you count the Tandy... The kids and wife use one, and I use a different one most of the time. Then the 386 sits as a back-up (can't figure out what to do with it).

I think the mistake is that people look at the MALL remainder as a catalog company. Big mistake. I look at them as innovators. They created UBID. They're creating eCOST. They have 3 or 4 other good web sites for the catalog businesses. Within 9 months their non-compete agreement with UBID (in substantially same business - online auction) expires. If UBID is still doing well and paying MALL for using their services, there's no need to compete. Otherwise, MALL has the talent to create another winner, here.

Too cheap at current prices.

And MALL is trading over 8 today, I don't see any news yet, but, however. Market tanks horrible but MALL is up. Very interisting.

I am very amused!
