I agree, it's hard to pick the exact point. However like me, I'm sure that you have been in MSFT long enough to have witnessed this type of chart pattern forming in the past. William O'Neil uses a previous MSFT breakout, out of a cup and handle formation to show when the Light is flashing Green and people might think about buying. ibd.infostreet.com I'm sitting tight with the requisite number of LEAPS, options and of course me trusty stock. It may only take two tries to get through the 90 level. I just think there is too much steam in the stock to require a triple top formation before it can break through to new highs. Teflon, It will be happening. You are right that this stock has too much steam. You could see it building up in the 77 range. I would not be surprised to see 90 by the end of next week. The one thing I have started to observe is that everyone wants to get in before the rally starts. Consequently, the rallies in the stock are starting sooner and sooner than normal. In addition, their effect on the stock price will be extremely quick. That is why i feel the stock could hit all time highs within 2 weeks and possibily decline in July as the rush to the exits might also start earlier than usual. MSFT should easily hit 100, IMHO, simply because during the recess from the trial, we will hear rumors of negotiations restarting. That alone should be worth 5 points. Here is a long shot, 95 by this Friday. I am not saying it will happen, but i think there is about a 25% chance it could.
