Fine, Let cable stay to itself. DSL is going to swarm and destroy it. Then when @Home tries to move into DSL they should be blocked since T has a cable monopoly with a lock on @Home. When T invites AOL and others to come in through cable they should all just hold their noses and turn away.

>> LOS ANGELES, June 18 (Reuters) - A long-awaited study by a city agency
Friday urged Los Angeles officials to deny Internet providers space on cable TV systems in what is rapidly becoming a contest for access to U.S. homes.<<

AT@T just this week filed a suit regarding the Portland decision,so I guess its the ISP's turn to file.In the interim period AOL goes about building subs and doing the DSL rollout.AOL says "I'll have high speed this summer"(around the corner) and AT@T says" sorry I have to go to court." and the winner is,drum roll please,AOL.
