Flash vs IBM microdrive: Edig's micro OS doesn't care, it works with either. Win-win situation.

I was wondering why EDIG chose to announce compatibility with CF instead of MMC.

MMC seems to be getting a lot of attention, but CF seems to provide the greater capacity in the near future. Maybe that's it.

"A spokesman for Sunnyvale, Calif.-based SanDisk said a 192-MB version of the CompactFlash card will ship this fall."

"The MMC card is expected to reach up to 128MB in 2000."
