I follow that. The point that I was trying to make only was that the Risk on a Buy and Hold on a Futures Contract was greater than it appears at first blush.

I was not even trying to make this point to you, specifically. Just a general remark.

For a Speculator a Buy and Hold Position in Futures has to be managed. That is my belief. I don't expect the world to subscribe to that belief, but I would love to have the other side of their trades.
