Just wanted to add that the 150-180 mil may be conservative.

I think LSI has said 6% of 1.49 b is Storage Systems (will check).

This is ~ 90 mil since merger date. The sell through rate is 18 mil a months or 216 mil if it was maintained for 12 months. I am pretty sure it was not - strenghtening took place later on in the year. On the low side, 25% of prior year's biz of about 600 mil was in Storage Systems - this means it was 150 mil (?). I'm pretty sure there was YOY growth in the segment for LSI and thus 150 mil is a reasonable low.

Maybe 160-190 is a better range. This means 80 mil in 1998 revenue is unaccounted for.

Hi Shane,

Well, I think you had a pretty good handle on things starting out. There really is no need to bother with certain kinds of interrogation. If somebody is coming off in an irritating way just ignore them. This is supposed to be a cocktail party, right? The S.I. logo is/was a martini glass or something like that. Seems like a good way to look at it.

My screen shows the Datek button as well. I think S.I. should at least provide us with real time quotes at the bottom of these threads before they start advertising anything to us. I think they will get a lot of complaints and stop the ads if they start losing money, or they will continue the ads if nobody cares. I have seen a few complaints already about the Datek button.

Hope you will not go away, but if you hate S.I. or have better things to do, can't blame you for leaving. I guess I figure that in just about everything I do, somebody is most likely making money on me, and S.I is no different.
