Thanx for all the excellent advice. Spoke with Schwab rep yesterday. He confirmed that the ETrade guys are all wet. Schwab will exercise and advance the margin loan in a heartbeat. Said they do it all the time.

Your comment is sad, but true for both men and women, IMO. Building on relationships is really building your self worth on what others think of you, rather than what you have done. It is called being a "second hander". All Politicians do this. You are building on sand.
